It provides integrated financial services, including commercial and retail banking, investment, and mortgage services, to its customers through locally branded divisions of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Synovus Bank, by branches located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Synovus reports under three business segments: community banking, wholesale banking, and financial management services - with the remaining functional activities included in the Treasury and Corporate Other segment.
